Weight loss is one of the top-most concerns of many individuals. Ever changing modern work style does not leave us with enough time and opportunities to take care of ourselves and our body. The weight loss program or the free diet plan that I will share with you in this post consists of a seven day diet regime aiming to reduce your weight by 3-4 Kgs a week, consider it a rapid weight loss diet. This could be very helpful for bloggers, Internet addicts and IT professionals who spent lot of time working on their computers without burning any calories off their body. Anyone can follow this free diet program as it doesn’t aim at quick weight loss. Losing up-to 3-4 Kgs of weight a week is healthy weight loss. If you have been considering various weight loss solutions such as weight loss surgery, I recommend that you try this weight loss diet first and then only look at any other solution if it doesn’t work.

Please note the following points before you take up this weight loss diet regime

  • If you are not comfortable, you can discontinue the diet program on any day.

  • You must drink at least 7 glasses of water everyday unless specifically mentioned to drink more in the regime below.

  • Continue this program till you lose extra weight. Once you attain proper weight, you may either continue or discontinue the diet regime and follow it whenever you need to.

  • This is one of the top 10 diet plans if you are aiming at gradual and healthy weight loss.

  • This is a low carbohydrate diet plan. If you are suffering from any illness and require high carbohydrate diet, consult your doctor before you follow this weight loss plan.

  • Dont blame me if you dont lose enough weight. Just continue the regime for another 7 days.

Seven Day Diet Regime at Targeting a weight loss of up to 4 Kgs a week

Day 1 [Fruits]

On day one of your diet regime will start with all fruits diet.

You may eat fruits of your choice and in any quantity.

There is no limit.

Eat till your stomach is full.

In case you don’t find fruits in nearby stores,

you can substitute it with packaged fruit juices

but avoid fruit juices that have preservatives in it,

 they don’t really do any good in this case.

 On day one, you must eat fruits ONLY and

don’t forget to drink at least 7 glasses of water.

Note: The only fruit that will not be on your plate is Banana.

Every other fruit is ok except banana.

 Don’t limit it to just one fruit, have as many different fruits you can.

Day 2 [Vegetables]

 This is all vegetables day.

If you prefer, you may have raw or/and cooked vegetables.

Eat as much as you want to, no quantity restrictions.

If you want to cook the vegetables,

you may do so but avoid using oil while you cook.

7 glasses of water today also.

Day 3 [Fruits and Vegetables]

 On day three, you will eat a mixture of fruits and vegetables.

No quantity restrictions, eat till you fill your stomach.

Also, eat one banana today, just one!

Day 4 [Vegetables, Bananas and Milk]

Today you will eat 6 bananas,

3 glasses of milk and small quantity of vegetables.

In the morning,

your breakfast will start with 2 bananas and one big glass of milk.

You will follow this in the afternoon for your lunch.

In the evening eat 2 bananas, eat vegetables and drink one glass of milk.

Day 5 [Rice and tomatoes]

Today you will have one cup of rice,

six full tomatoes (medium size) and

 since you are having lots of tomatoes,

 drink 10 glasses of water today.

Day 6 [Rice and Vegetables]

One cup of rice and raw/cooked vegetables of your choice.

It’s recommended that you eat rice in the morning

and for rest of the day, eat vegetables.

Day 7 [Fruits, Vegetables and Rice]

On day seven, eat fruits, vegetables and 1 cup of rice.

You may substitute fruits and vegetables with juices as well,

but that is to avoid.

This diet regime works well by burning more fat

than accumulating it and

since it avoids all sorts of food items that

eventually gets converted to fat to

 become a part of your body,

the weight loss is faster and harmless.

The feet are the source of hidden troubles for premature senility and pathological changes in the human body. They Chinese believe that every meridian point in our feet is a part of our body system; therefore foot reflexology is the ideal treatment for the elderly, the stressed executive, the sportsman, in fact just about anybody. But did you know that just by observing the shape of a person’s feet and legs, you can learn about their characteristics, personality traits and innermost secrets?

When legs are long, lean and smooth, this suggests the person will enjoy a smooth sailing life with few obstacles. You are an active, hardworking and helpful person. You are likely to have a very good life before your thirties. After 30, your life depends on other destiny indicators.

When your legs are short relative to your body, this suggests you are smart, attentive and quiet. You prefer jobs which do not require you to deal with too many people. You may face some obstacles before your thirties, but after that your luck improves tremendously for the better.

Someone who walks with an inward splay suggests they are low profile, preferring the stable life rather than taking risks.

Home Remedies for a Toothache

A toothache will be the most excruciating pain you will have to endure in your life. It can be caused by many things:
– Eating too many sugary foods
– Tooth decay
– Cavities
– Cracked teeth
And more.

A toothache can pop up at any time unexpectedly. For those that can’t wait or stand the horrid pain until they see the dentist to get help with their troublesome tooth there are some temporary fixes.

Garlic Cloves 

 Garlic is a recommended ingredient for toothache pain relief. It can be found in the kitchen, maybe on your spice rack. The way to use garlic for pain relief is to chew a clove or two on the tooth. This for some may be painful so another thing you can do is use clove oil. To use this all you have to do mix 3 drops of it with a little bit of olive oil. With this mixture get a cotton ball and soak it and rub it against your tooth or just hold it there for a while if movement hurts. 5 – 10 minutes you should start feeling better.

Garlic is good for the teeth and during and even after your toothache you should chew at least one clove a day (morning) as it will help you build up strong teeth and reduce the likeliness of getting another toothache.

Vanilla Extract

This is a method that you should use on children as they will find it much more appealing than garlic. The way to take this is just like with the clove oil; dip some cotton wool into the vanilla extract and let it soak up, then put it onto the affected tooth for a few minutes and you (or your child) should start feeling pain relief after a couple of minutes. For adults who prefer not to use vanilla extract there are many other varieties you can use. Some favourites with many people is using alcohol instead of the vanilla extract (whiskey or brandy not beer). This is applied the same way as vanilla extract and works just as well. It is advised that you don’t use alcohol for your children if you can help it.

Salt

Even though it is one of the worst tasting way to reduce pain of a toothache, salt is one of the favourite home remedies for a toothache. Salt is very effective as it works well with bacteria. Salt can be used on gum infections and sores in the mouth and it is also a great toothache pain reliever. The method to using salt is very simple all you need to do is dissolve a teaspoon of salt in a small glass of water (room temperature if possible). The next step is to take a small bit and instead of swallowing it whirl it around your mouth , in and out the teeth, from side to side etc… After you have finished don’t swallow! Spit it out and repeat with more water.

Once finished you should fell less pain in your mouth. Even if the pain seems to be gone, keep repeating this process after meals to keep the pain from cropping back up on you unexpectedly from the bacteria in your food.

Pepper

A mixture of a pinch of pepper powder and a quarter teaspoon of common salt is an excellent dentrifice. Its daily use prevents dental cavities, foul breath, bleeding from the gums, painful gums, and toothaches. It cures the increased sensitiveness of the teeth. A pinch of pepper powder mixed with clove oil can be put on the cavities to alleviate the toothache.

Asafoetida

The use of asafoetida has been found useful in curing toothache. It should be pestled in lemon Juice and slightly heated. A cotton swab should be soaked in this lotion and placed in the cavity of the tooth. It will relieve pain quickly.

Looking for a natural way to relieve knee pain? You may want to tweak your diet. A growing body of research suggests that small dietary changes can add up to big benefits for knee health. “A number of foods have powerful anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties that may be as effective as some prescription medicines for arthritis and other types of knee pain,” says Beth Reardon, RD, MS, an integrative nutritionist and medicinal foods expert at Duke Integrative Medicine Center in Durham, N.C. Read on to learn how mealtime may be affecting the health of your knees.

Diet and Knee Pain: Go Fish

The omega-3 fatty acids found in fish are natural anti-inflammatories. Calming joint inflammation can often help ease knee soreness, according to Steven Stuchin, MD, director of orthopedic surgery at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York City. In randomized clinical studies, omega-3 fatty acids were found to ease pain and reduce the duration of morning stiffness in people with rheumatoid arthritis. The best sources of omega-3s are salmon, tuna, sardines, herring, cod, and mackerel, as well as fish oil supplements. Another benefit of adding fish to your diet: “Fish is safer than anti-inflammatory medication, which may have side effects,” says Reardon.

Diet and Knee Pain: Drink Orange Juice

Orange juice is a top-notch source of vitamin C, a nutrient that may guard against knee osteoarthritis. A 10-year Australian study of almost 300 middle-aged adults found that those getting high amounts of vitamin C were less likely to suffer the kind of bone degeneration associated with knee osteoarthritis. “Drinking a glass of orange juice provides about 25 percent more vitamin C than eating an orange,” says Reardon. Other good sources of vitamin C to prevent knee pain are green peppers, grapefruit, and strawberries.

Diet and Knee Pain: Eat Spinach and Onions

Follow Popeye’s lead and add spinach to your regime. Australian researchers found that getting high amounts of the antioxidants lutein and zeaxanthin (found in green veggies like spinach) can help relieve knee pain caused by osteoarthritis. Several studies have found an additional benefit of lutein and zeaxanthin, as they can help prevent vision-related diseases.

Don’t forget to add some onions to your spinach salad as well. Adding onions to salads, sandwiches, stews, and casseroles may help put the brakes on knee pain. Onions are a rich source of quercetin, a flavonoid with strong anti-inflammatory properties, says Reardon. In studies of arthritic mice, quercetin resulted in significant decreases in arthritis symptoms. Apples, red grapes, and tea are also good sources of quercetin.

Diet and Knee Pain: Order Indian Food

A helping of curry could do wonders for your knee pain. That’s because turmeric, a spice used in curry and other Indian dishes, contains curcumin, a powerful anti-inflammatory. “Curcumin works similarly to COX-2 inhibitors — drugs that reduce the COX-2 enzyme that causes the pain and swelling of arthritis,” says Reardon. A 2006 Canadian study of the effects of both curcumin and quercetin found that curcumin reduced the inflammation of arthritis in animals. Quercetin (the flavonoid in onions) worked too, but not to the extent of the curcumin.

Diet and Knee Pain: Use Ginger Generously

The herb ginger traditionally has been used to relieve upset stomach, but researchers recently discovered that it also reduces knee pain by decreasing inflammation. In a study of 261 patients with moderate to severe knee pain due to osteoarthritis, ginger extract significantly reduced knee pain during standing and walking. Cooking with this spice can increase the flavor of meals while decreasing knee pain.

Diet and Knee Pain: Avoid Refined Carbohydrates

Some research suggests that diets high in refined carbohydrates can increase inflammation, says Reardon. She recommends steering clear of white bread, pasta, and baked goods — taking these foods out of your diet can have an added bonus of helping you drop excess pounds.

Because changing your diet is a relatively easy step, it makes sense to try some — or all — of the foods listed above. You may find some relief from knee pain and get some added health benefits to boot.
